Indiewire: Game of Thrones, Season 6 reviews

Now that season 6 of Game of Thrones is done, here’s a compilation of my reviews for Indiewire. HBO did not make screeners available this season. Rather than do traditional episodic recaps, they convened a group of writers to provide short, rapid responses to each episode. I was honored to join a roundtable of really great critics including Hanh Nguyen, Sarah Mesle and Eric Deggans. And as the resident book-reader of the group, I also got to write a longer essay looking at how the show did after surpassing the source texts.
